Seasonal Sunday (08-28-11)

by Brittany on August 28, 2011

After a 2 week hiatus- I’m so happy to have this event back into place! Furthermore I’m pleased to be on what seems so far to be a server that actually keeps my site online and available. You know.. where it should be!

*First I wanted to note that I currently have a giveaway  going on until tomorrow! I’m sharing a ticket to the upcoming Dallas Expo Bread Class (which I’m co-teaching).  I have a copy of the Expo Cookbook up for grabs. You can still enter throughout the rest of today!

Today I would like to highlight some recipes shared at the last event:

(Dairy Free) Double Chocolate Raspberry Ice Cream from a Mom on a Mission
Saskatoon Berry Fudge from Food Farm Health
Raw Triple Chocolate Cherry Pie from the Mommy Bowl
Peach Cobbler Muffins from the Pure Pantry

I’m sharing my latest recipe for:

Boozy Blueberry & Peach Cobbler (Grain/Gluten/Dairy/Soy/Corn/Refined Sugar Free)

Now its your turn!

Guidelines for Linking:

  1. Recipes must contain one Seasonal Ingredient (See below for the list of foods that are currently in season)
  2. You may link up old or new recipes. Wonderful food is always worth sharing! Feel free to share up to 6 recipes each week.
  3. Gluten Free Recipes are NOT required- this event is meant to inspire ideas for all. However I do ask that if your recipe is Gluten Free that you give it the “GF” Label.
  4. Please include a link in your blog in reference to Seasonal Sundays so that your readers may also participate.

Thanks so much for hosting and congrats on your Blogiversary! I shared a refreshing and cleansing Watermelon-Cucumber Juice recipe, an Apple Crisp w/ Soaked Oats Topping recipe (made w/ Gravenstein apples which are in season right now), and a super yummy Creamy Watermelon Ice Cream recipe. Thanks again :)
